An Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Thursday November 14th at MEA Pearl Primary Care Plus Clinic at 342 Gilchrist just off Airport Road in Pearl. MEA has added a new wing of the facility with 3 exam rooms, offices and a separate waiting room. Dr. John Belknap, nephew of longtime MEA physician Dr. Amos Belknap, will be located in the new clinic area. He will primarily see Medicare patients. The MEA in Pearl was the very first MEA and was established in 1979. It was located on Hwy 80 before moving to the current location in 1989. MEA is open 7 days a week and is only closed 2 days a year, on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. For an appointment call 601-939-0700
