The Pearl Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, December 8th at the new location of Hair X-Press. They are located at 2509 Old Brandon Road next door to Couch Tree Service. Hair X-Press opened in Brandon in 1997 and was there for 19 years until their recent move to the new location. The owner, Sissy Matheny and most of her staff grew up in Pearl and graduated from Pearl High School. They have over 80 years of experience in hair care with a staff of 3 Barbers, 4 Cosmetologists and 1 Nail Tech. Hair X-Press offers haircare for women, men and children and takes walk-ins and appointments. They also do eyebrow waxing and hair styles for special events such as weddings, proms and pageants. Hair X-Press offers all of the most popular services such as color, foils, cuts and styles and they specialize in wet sets with rollers and teased styles.
