The Pearl Chamber of Commerce held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, June 1 for the new MCEF Training Center and to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation. MCEF educates and trains for jobs and careers in the construction and maintenance industries in Mississippi through classes held by its School-to-Work program for high school students, community college students, and adult craft professionals through its registered apprentice program. The new facility is located next to Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Mississippi at 5165 Old Brandon Road in Pearl near the Airport.
