Bob's Pool Service was selected as the Pearl Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month in July. Mr. Bob Atkisson opened Bob's Pool Service in 1964 in Bright's Shopping Center in Pearl and moved to the current location at 5014 Hwy 80 East in 1973. Bob's Pool Service continues to be a family owned and operated business with the late Mr. Bob's son Jim and his wife Karen managing the day to day operations. Of their 38 employees, they have many that have long tenures with the company, several of whom are family members. Bob's Pool Service has three departments within the company. They have the retail store that sells everything from chemicals and parts to pool floats and Primo smokers and grills that are made in the USA. They also have the largest service department in the state as well as a cleaning route that cleans and maintains over 400 pools on a regular basis. Bob's Pool Service specilaizes exclusively in gunite in-ground pools. They can make your backyard into a special place for outdoor entertaining and relaxing.
