A Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Friday February 22nd at D-BAT Pearl located at 5706 Hwy 80 East in Pearl near Focus Fit. D-Bat offers batting cages, pitching machines and expert instructors that give lessons at every level. The batting cages use real baseballs and softballs and the pitching machines will accommodate both fast and slow pitch softball. Batting cage rentals can be reserved for an individual or a whole team and payment can be made for one session or a yearly membership. D-Bat offers camps and clinics throughout the year as well as a fully stocked Pro Shop. Owners are Brad Thornton, Pearl Fire Chief and Donnie Boykin, Battalion Chief at the Pearl Fire Department.
