The Pearl Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month in August is BancorpSouth, located at 2301 Hwy. 80 East in Pearl. They have been serving their communities since 1876 and the city of Pearl since 1986. BancorpSouth is headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi with $13.6 billion in assets. Chris Walker is the Branch Manager and Loan Officer at BancorpSouth and also serves as an Ambassador of the Pearl Chamber of Commerce as well as being an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Pearl. In addition, BancorpSouth also contributes to the community with the “Teaching Kids to Save” program at our local schools and sponsors Pearl Chamber Commerce and Kiwanis events as well. They are truly an integral part of the City of Pearl and the Pearl Chamber of Commerce.
