T & D Furniture was selected as the Pearl Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month in October. T & D opened its doors in 1990 on Bierdeman Road in Pearl and quickly outgrew that location. Tom and Diannia Karnes built the current 60,000 square foot building in 1995 and have continued as a respected leader in the furniture industry in Central Mississippi. They have 27 employees that make up the T & D family. T & D purchases most of their upholstered furniture from Mississippi companies and is proud of their large line of unfinished Mountain Pine furniture that is made in Alabama. They also carry a large inventory of rugs, lamps and accessories. Delivery and financing are available. Tom and Diannia’s daughter Tammy Karnes is the General Manager at T & D and serves on the Pearl Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is actively involved in the community. Brittany Williams, the Customer Service and Sales Manager, is an Ambassador at the chamber and volunteers for the many events that the chamber hosts.
