The Pearl Chamber Business of the Month in October is Wisteria Gardens, located at 5420 Hwy 80 East in Pearl. Wisteria Gardens opened it’s doors in November 2007 and have continued through the years to provide the highest level of care possible in a continuing care retirement community. Residents at Wisteria Gardens have spacious private rooms with full bathrooms that include a fully accessible shower. Wisteria Gardens is well known for their excellent rehabilitation services that include speech, occupational and physical therapy on a full time basis. The experienced staff consists of rehabilitative therapy, nursing, activities, social services, dietary, housekeeping and laundry. They have 80 employees in the 120 suite facility. Wisteria Gardens offers clients all levels of care including independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing home care. Pictured with staff is owner and Administrator David Hill.
The Pearl Chamber Business of the Month is Regions Bank, at 3006 Hwy 80 East in Pearl. That location was originally built by Deposit Guaranty in 1974 and was later acquired by Am South. Regions acquired the bank in 2007 and since then they have set a standard for exceptional customer care and the many services that they offer. The employees at Regions are cross-trained so that in the event one area needs more help or an employee is out sick or on vacation, someone else can step in and assist. They offer non-traditional services such as “Now Banking” designed with non-customers and students in mind. It gives them an opportunity to load their card and use it like a credit or debit card with no fees or overdraft penalties. The card can simply be loaded from an ATM. The card holder can also have checks direct deposited to the card. Regions also offers Western Union transfers and non-customer check cashing. We are happy to announce that the Pearl Chamber of Commerce August Business of the Month is Merit Health. The Merit Health Medical Group includes more than 80 locations and 100 physicians. They are affiliated with nine hospitals in Central Mississippi and numerous clinics throughout the area. Two Merit Health Clinics are located in Pearl. Couch Tree Service has been in business for almost 40 years providing expert residential and commercial tree services throughout the state. Damon and Tonya Couch are 2nd generation owners that pride themselves in friendly personal service and quick emergency response. Congratulations to Eclipse Nutrition on being selected as the Pearl Chamber June Business of the Month! Eclipse is about to celebrate 4 years in business in Pearl. They offer creamy delicious shakes that only have 200 - 250 calories but they taste like a shake from an ice cream parlor! They are very filling as a meal replacement or an afternoon snack when the cravings kick in. Eclipse also serves the very popular loaded teas in many different flavors. DD opened in Pearl in April 2008 and quickly became everyone’s favorite coffee shop featuring hot, iced and frozen coffee with a huge selection of added flavors.
