Walmart in Pearl hosted a huge Mardi Gras style celebration on Tuesday morning, February 28th to honor the first graduating class of the Walmart Training Academy. The Pearl Walmart is now the training facility for employees in 18 stores in Jackson and the surrounding areas. 60 diplomas were presented at the ceremony as well as several generous donations to the Pearl Police Department, Pearl High School Dance & Cheer, Pearl Upper Elementary, and McLaurin High School.
